On 'Strange Brew', Deep Soul Deities aimed to capture the energy of the moment by tracking in one room to analog tape. Expertly recorded by Eddie Ciletti and his 'Analog Technologies' students, this unsparingly honest approach to sound recording resulted in five tracks of non-stop, body-movin' Deep Soul funk. The band dubbed a variety of sonic goodies on top of the original takes to finally produce their debut EP released in June 2010.
